As with many interlocking block patterns, this one is deceptively easy. Nancy Page offered this block in a newspaper advertisement in the 1930's for "three cents and a self addressed stamped envelope." Ah, the good old days. Originally done in '30's prints, we've created our kit with period prints. The open blocks in the center make a wonderful canvas for quilting, either by hand or machine.
