The book and Sandi’s series are everything you need to create your own sampler quilt with 111 6" blocks. The book includes a CD of templates and letters from 1920’s farm wives.
Join Sandi Ray as you make your Farmers Wife Sampler quilt, and learn about American culture in the 1920s. She'll guide you through the construction of the blocks as you read and discuss excerpts from the letters, both heartwarming and heart wrenching. You'll create 111 blocks—The Farmer’s Puzzle, Four Winds, Flower Pot and many more in this 12-month sequence. You'll also learn sewing tips and techniques as you explore what life was like in the 1920s.
